Pursuing Diversified Business Development Based on Printing Technologies
Following the establishment of Toin Corporation in 1955, we developed our core business of paper and plastic package manufacturing and sales. Today, in addition to packages for cosmetics, food products, pharmaceuticals, daily necessities, and more, we are involved in label production and sales, packaging contracts for quasi-pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food products, as well as precision-coating contracts (e.g., functional film for electronics components) all while we pursue diversified business development based on printing technologies.
Packaging and Labels, the Mainstay of Our Business
In packaging and labels, our mainstay business, we are involved in safely protecting and packaging customers' products, such as cosmetics and food, and communicating and highlighting the appeal of those products to consumers. We are proud to play a role in selling our customers' products and take our responsibilities very seriously. Using environmentally friendly materials that we have developed, we leverage the entire company's resources to create package and label designs and structures that accurately represent customers' intentions and requirements while implementing thorough quality management in our manufacturing processes to ensure customers may use our products with peace of mind.
Precision Coating: The Second Pillar of Our Business
In our precision coating business, which has become the second pillar of our business, given the increasing speed of technological innovation and decreasing lifespan of products, we are focusing our efforts on making production more efficient in order to meet diverse customer needs flexibly and accurately while enhancing our quality assurance and confidentiality management systems.
Active Global Development
Furthermore, in 2008, we established a local corporation in Thailand, which is involved in materials procurement and sales activities for packages and other products, while in 2013, we established another local corporation to handle manufacturing functions in Vietnam and began operating a factory there. Through collaboration between our sites in three locations – Japan, Vietnam, and Thailand – we are enhancing and expanding business development in both Japan and Southeast Asia. We will continue to address customers' global purchasing needs by integrating the strengths of the entire Toin Group.
A Company That Contributes to Society
The social and business environment in which we operate is constantly changing, and going forward, we will be required to respond rapidly and appropriately to various management issues. In particular, I believe that we are entering a period when our ability to supply adequate quantities of high-quality products in a timely manner and our ability to develop and supply environmentally and socially responsible materials and products will see greater demand. Toin Corporation intends to work continuously on proactively addressing these issues, to meet the diverse needs of all our shareholders, customers, and other stakeholders accurately and enhance our efforts in order to make a valuable contribution to society.
